These terms apply to the purchase of The Siege of Jerusalem. By buying the game you agree to them. They do not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
1. Who you’re buying from
The Siege of Jerusalem is sold by its developer, an individual seller based in Australia. You can reach us at thesiegeofjerusalem@gmail.com, which is the fastest way to get an answer about any order. Sales are processed by Payhip as merchant of record; Payhip appears on your statement and issues your receipt.
2. What you’re buying
A licence to play The Siege of Jerusalem, a single-player browser-based strategy game. It is a one-time purchase. There is no subscription.
3. What the licence allows
You may play the game for personal, non-commercial use on any device you own. You may not:
- resell, sublicense, rent or redistribute the game;
- republish it or host it anywhere else;
- share your copy publicly; or
- reverse-engineer or modify it for distribution.
The game, its code, artwork, text and design remain the property of its developer. Your purchase grants a licence to play the game, not ownership of the work.
4. Delivery
After purchase the game is delivered by Payhip, usually immediately and in all cases within 24 hours. If it does not arrive, check your spam and promotions folders, then contact thesiegeofjerusalem@gmail.com.
5. Saved progress
Your progress is stored locally in your own web browser, not on our servers. It is tied to the browser and device you play on, and may be lost if you clear your browser data, use private browsing, or switch devices. The game includes an Export Save feature; players are responsible for backing up their own progress. We cannot recover lost progress.
6. Requirements
A modern desktop or laptop web browser with JavaScript enabled and local storage available. The game is not designed for mobile devices.
7. Updates
Updates are provided at our discretion at no extra cost. No particular update or feature is guaranteed.
8. Price and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars (USD). Taxes may be added at checkout depending on your country. Payment is handled by Payhip; we do not receive or store your card details. Promotional pricing applies only for the advertised period.
9. Refunds
See our Refund Policy. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected.
10. Liability
Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Where liability can be limited, it is limited to resupplying the game or refunding the purchase price.
11. Historical content
The Siege of Jerusalem is a work of historical strategy fiction based on documented events of AD 70. It is entertainment informed by history, not a scholarly account.
